Sally is the author of the fantasy adventure 'The Three Beasts And The Unicorns'.
Set in the ancient past at the end of the Mesolithic in a wild and untamed Britain, two sisters get caught up with unicorns, feared beasts of their ancestors and get taken on adventures, meet terrifying beasts and come face to face with the conflict between their own tribe and unicorns. They must discover who is the real monster, and nature has turned ugly.
The book is currently in development for a feature film.
The Stone Age spanned 2.5 million years, ending about 5000 years ago with the development of bronze for tools and weapons.
It has always intrigued me, how few archeological finds from then survived compared to other eras, how people survived with only fire and stone and will. How they must have had a close connection to the earth and to nature.
Much knowledge of which has been lost today.
I like to write speculative fiction, evoking a past that could have been but holding a mystery to explore.
